Welcome

Troop 144 of Pompton Plains, New Jersey encourages Scouts to live by the Scout Oath and Law. Our Troop enjoys a multitude of activities planned by our youth and adult leaders. Recent activities include monthly camping trips, weekly meetings, and a week long summer camp. Some highlights of our camping trips include overnight trips to the Battleship Massachusetts, the Freedom Trail in Boston, Washington D.C., Gettysburg, and Philadelphia. Troop 144 is also committed to its community. Our recent scouting for food drive collected a few hundred bags of food for our local food pantry. Additionally, we annually clean up trails at local parks. We are always looking for ways to help in our community. If you have a need, or suggestion, please feel free to contact us.
